Currently, Shahzad serves as the Ex Secretary of the Rashtriya Ulema Council (RUC), Delhi, and is an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He also holds the position of Ex Vice President of the Minority Cell in District Mayur Vihar, Delhi state BJP, where he focuses on advocating for minority rights, enhancing community engagement, and facilitating constructive dialogue across diverse groups.
